The Ultimate Summer Camp Experience
ABOUT US
Alpha Sports is an official operator of Nike Sports Camps.
We run Nike Soccer, Nike Basketball, and Nike Volleyball camps for boys and girls ages 8–18, with all three sports running simultaneously at FIU and USF so siblings and multi-sport athletes can train on the same campus.
Our camps offer both day and overnight options. Overnight campers stay on campus in university housing with all meals included, supervised evening activities, and around-the-clock staff support — giving families from out of state and around the world a seamless, all-inclusive experience.
Each summer we welcome campers from across the U.S. and internationally, creating a diverse and exciting atmosphere on and off the field.
Beyond training sessions, campers enjoy a full schedule of fun activities on campus and off. Weekend field trips to South Beach, Lincoln Road shopping, and local attractions give overnight campers a true Miami experience between weekly sessions. Evening socials, games, and cross-sport events keep the energy going after the final whistle.
Our mission is simple: every camper leaves better than they arrived — with sharper skills, new friendships, and memories that last long after summer ends.
TRUST
We know that sending your child to camp — especially overnight or from another country — is a big decision. That’s why camper safety is our number one priority. Our staff maintains a low camper-to-coach ratio, overnight campers are supervised around the clock in university housing, and every location follows strict safety protocols. Parents receive regular updates and have direct access to camp directors throughout the week.
PROFESSIONAL STAFF
Our coaching teams are led by experienced directors including Volleyball Hall of Famer Rita Buck-Crockett, supported by current and former collegiate players and club coaches. We maintain a 1:10 coach-to-camper ratio so every athlete gets individualized attention. Instruction is tailored to each camper’s skill level — from first-timers learning fundamentals to advanced players refining position-specific techniques.
COMPETITION
We believe healthy competition builds better athletes. Campers compete in daily scrimmages and end-of-week tournaments, grouped by age and ability so every match is meaningful. With three sports running side by side at our camps, there’s a natural energy and rivalry across courts and fields that you won’t find at a single-sport camp.
CHARACTER
Sports teach more than skills — they build character. We hold every camper to a high standard of sportsmanship, respect, and accountability. Our coaches model these values daily, and campers are encouraged to support teammates, compete with integrity, and push themselves beyond their comfort zone.
FUN
MORE THAN JUST A CAMP
When training wraps for the day, the fun keeps going. Overnight campers enjoy evening socials across all three sports, plus off-campus outings to movies, bowling, and Dave & Buster’s. Between weekly sessions, weekend field trips take campers to South Beach, Lincoln Road shopping, and other Miami hotspots. It’s a full summer experience — not just a week of drills. With campers arriving from across the U.S. and around the world, the friendships made here extend far beyond Florida.
